We decided to buy ourselves a new refrigerator. Our old one came with the house and I wouldn’t be surprised if it is as old as our house as well. The freezer didn’t seem to keep things quite cold enough (ice cream was often a little soft), the water dispenser didn’t work, the ice often had a bit of a faint smell and sometimes had flecks in it. So we thought it was time for a new one.
After taking measurements of the current space, we realized that if we wanted a larger refrigerator (which we did) that we were limited in our options due to size constraints. After much perusing, we finally found one we liked. Greg still had to shave a little bit off the bottom of the upper cabinets so it would fit though!

The new one is quite fancy and even internet capable, although we have found the internet connection to be a bit flaky. Perhaps due to the distance from the modem. Now we have so much room to store things I may have to take up doing some freezer meal preparation again!
That really is a major size difference! I remember with the old one, you had no freezer space because of the ice maker
