On June 21st and 22nd, our friends Mark and Sarah (from California) were in Idaho Springs. They’d rented a house there for a couple nights and invited all their Denver friends to come spend time up there with them.
After our little girls were put to bed, the adults spent some time playing Texas Hold-em. I actually came in second place. We also spent a couple hours in the hot tub on the deck, talking and enjoying the cool night air and the many, many stars visible above.
The following day, some of us girls, including Adrianna, took a little hike. We saw a doe who was very curious about us. We also spent a lot of time relaxing, reading and chatting with the other people staying up there. It was nice to get away for an evening to relax with friends.
I loved reading your blog posts and seeing the pictures of your recent trips with family and friends. We have always found that visiting PEOPLE is the highlight of any trip–as opposed to just sightseeing.
And such cute pictures of the girls–a sweet little munchkin and a grown up six year old!! So cute!
