I think we have been to the doctor’s office or the hospital lab every day since Christmas day. Bree’s poor little heels have been pricked so many times for jaundice tests (and also blood sugar tests while we were still in the hospital because of low blood sugar due to my having gestational diabetes).
The good news is that after today’s test, the doctor thinks her bilirubin levels are decreasing so unless she exhibits some of the warning signs, we don’t have to go back until the 31st for her 10 day checkup.
