Today is my very first Mother’s Day. It is still sinking in that I am a mother. Although it allows for much less “me” time, I am loving it.
Greg surprised me with some beautiful hydrangeas, which are among some of my favorite flowers. He is so considerate; he got me a potted plant which I totally prefer since they last so much longer than cut flowers (at least until I accidently overwater or underwater them down the road :oops:.) He also brought home some of my favorite cookies. I sure appreciate his thoughtfulness.
I believe those are aunt polly’s favorite flowers too. she had them in her front yard by the driveway. Her gardener got frustrated because everyone was walking through them to get to aunt pollys front door. They were coming to see pollyanna after her accident falling fron the tree.
