This past weekend, we went to Wyoming for the annual Basin picnic. Adrianna had fun playing at the park and was excited to acquire another squirt gun. (Actually, three squirt guns.) We were also glad to get to see Ebony there. Karen and Zach also came to town for the weekend.
And of course we had to play Bingo while we were there; it is one of our favorite activities of the picnic. Out of the 10 games played, I won two (in a row) and Zach won the blackout. I am sure all the other participants were giving our table the evil-eye with our winning such a high percentage of the games. And I just love the audible and disappointed-sounding “awws” whenever someone shouts out, “BINGO!” Especially when that someone is me. 🙂
My friend Kristy came to the park to hang out with us, along with her 4 month old, Jadden, and we followed that up with a dinner at a local restaurant.
After dinner and after Adrianna was tucked into bed, most of us stayed up until 2 a.m. playing Trivial Pursuit. Once we started getting pretty tired and loopy, it was time for bed.
On Sunday, I drove out to Kristy’s place for a couple hours while Adrianna stayed and played “castles” with Nana and Greg did some dry-wall mudding.
Nana took some video of Adrianna on the trampoline with Smore. I tried uploading it to youtube, but since this was taken on a cell phone, the quality wasn’t high enough. I would have taken more video, but I am still trying to learn how to use the video on my new camera….that little clip of Adrianna jumping with Smores sure is cute though 🙂
