After a delicious brunch at Village Inn, we drove out to Boulder to spend the nice afternoon along the Boulder Creek Trail. We had never been there before, though we’d driven by on various trips out to the nearby foothills.
The place is beautiful and from the start, Adrianna was very excited to walk the path along the river. We could tell this from her constant chatter and her many comments on how the area was where Teddy Bear lived.
Watching a beetle cross the trail. I love how they are still holding hands.
There is something so special and endearing about a little girl holding her daddy’s hand.
On the way back, we stopped at a little paved place where children could play in the water safely away from the flow of the river. This was probably the highlight of Adrianna’s day.
It looks like you had a fun Fourth. We enjoyed seeing the Passion Play in Eureka Springs. We saw fireworks on the Third in Rogers. Did you see any?
