Adrianna wants so badly to create a store or restaurant (yestaraunt, as she sometimes calls it) Â or to sell something from our driveway. A lemonade stand, a toy stand, etc. She is always coming up with new ideas to try. She has already had a pinecone and clover leaf selling stand. Her newest idea is […]

Fazoli’s and Eeyahs
We love Fazoli’s! Even if it always means a trip to the bathroom afterward to wash up the preschooler! (I think she ends up wearing as much as she eats.) Afterward at the store, Bree spotted this blue Eeyah. She sure loves her eeyahs.
Olympics
Watching the Olympics’ Parade of Nations with Adrianna. We are having fun looking up the countries on our globe.
Mall Play Place
The girls love to play at the mall’s play place. I love their coordinating outfits from Nartjies. It’s so hard to find matching outfits in both of their sizes.
Marvin K. Mooney
Adrianna drew this character from one of our favorite children’s books. Can you guess who it is?
Tooth Fairy
Today, Adrianna told me, “Mommy, since I know the Tooth Fairy isn’t real, when I lose my tooth you don’t have to put it under my pillow. You can just give me the money.”
Chautauqua Hike
Our Pneuma homeschool group went on a hike in the Chautauqua park near Boulder. Even though our hike was cut short due to rain and thunder, we still had a good time. It is a beautiful area and the kids enjoyed climbing on the rocks afterward. We were pleasantly surprised to also bump into Adrianna’s […]
Denver Zoo
Some girls from my MOPS table met up at the Denver Zoo for a summer playdate. Unfortunately, even though it was a school day, many of the schools were on furlough and so their families had the same idea. Parking was crazy; I’d never seen it that bad on a weekday. Sadly, Kim wasn’t able […]
Bliss
She often closes her eyes like this when she is enjoying her food. In this case, chocolate. I love these sweet, beautiful girls. Bree loves her big sister, “Nana”. This was one of the few smiles we got out of her all morning! Stubborn girl.
Cinnamon
Today we are reviewing synonyms in our English. Or “cinnamon”, as Adrianna calls them.
