The Benefits of Anonymity

Lately I been thinking about the benefits of anonymity when it comes to blogging. You don’t have to worry about the crazies stalking you down. You can totally be yourself and write whatever is on your mind without fear of offending someone known to you. And best of all, you can talk about your job without getting yourself fired. There are so many things I would like to gripe about and need to get off my chest but I cannot. Well, except to Greg, and I am sure he would love it if I had another outlet for my rants about work and the like.

On the other hand, I like my blog and it has treated me well for two years and I don’t plan on stopping now. I like that old friends can google me and find me here and get back in touch. I like keeping my family (who all live out of state) in-the-loop with the Reimer family goings-on. But maybe I will have to start an anonymous blog too where I can send out my ravings into the unknown without fear of reprisal. A diary for the disgruntled and discontented corporate drone. Hmmm…
