Free Digital Scrapbook Quick Page – Tea Party

The contestants of the recent Stone Accents Studio design contest decided to put together a little “cast party” of a few more freebies as a way to say thanks to all the wonderful people who supported us and took to time to leave us such great comments and votes.

My contribution is another free 12×12 Quick Page that you can download from my site. (Click on the preview below to be brought to my freebie page.) Many of the other ladies really went all out for this cast party, but I am still reeling from all the creativity I had to muster for the contest so I was lucky to even get this done in time. ๐Ÿ™‚

In order to make things easy for you, Nani has compiled all of the freebie previews in one place – you can view the rest at the Stone Accents Studio Cast Party blog. The rest of the freebies should be put into place sometime today. It is an international collection of contestants, so please be patient if they haven’t been posted yet on some of the blogs due to the time differences and all. ๐Ÿ™‚

Layouts Using my Designs

I have been really behind on posting some of the amazing layouts that I have seen using my designs. (Sorry!) Here are three that were sent to recently. Don’t you think they all did an amazing job?

Layout by Angela M. I love how she altered the template to include larger pictures in some of the wavy slots.

Layout by Anita B. Layouts that show multiple generations are so special! I love how Anita put this template to use.

Layout by Cra-Z-cat. Deb flipped the layout and it looks great! I really like how she has the journaling on her stars.

Layouts by Amberpony. Amberpony was one of my supporters at SAS (thank you so much!) and I just love how she used this QP. Flip it and it is like a brand new layout!

Don’t you think these all turned out fabulously? I sure do! Thanks so much for sending them to me!

Gold Star

I received a Gold Star Blog Award from Nani at the Chronicles of Nani.

Nani was one of my fellow contestants at Stone Accents Studio’s DGold Star Blog Awardesign contest and all of us came to know her as a cheerleader and huge encouragement during each round. It looks like her encouragement continues, as I was thrilled to be nominated to receive this. ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks Nani!

Scrapbook Layout – Fresh

I am taking a Photoshop class over at and already I am learning new things. Hooray!

Here is my attempt at using the slice tool.

Blinkie…But Without the Blink

One of the popular trends in the digital scrapbooking world is to have “blinkies” in your signature in the forums you frequent or on your blog to advertise what creative team you are on, designers you like, or blogs you frequent. So I decided to jump on the bandwagon and create one for my site.

I am not a big fan of blinking or scrolling objects, so it is a “blinkie” without the blink.ย  Feel free to snag it. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Afternoon Hike – Scrapbook Layout

Well, I didn’t win the Stone Accents Studio design contest. Boohoo. But I am very thankful that I did make it to the final round. I learned a lot and, other than the stress and scrambling to get the challenges done in time each week, I really enjoyed my time there and getting to know the fellow contestants who were all so fabulous and supportive.

Speaking of supportive, thanks to all of YOU for your support and votes while this craziness was going on. I will have another freebie for you all soon. ๐Ÿ™‚

Now that I finally have some time on my hands (in the evening after baby-girl is in bed), I actually got a layout completed tonight. Well, I DID use a QP to get it done, but it is a layout completed nonetheless.
