Cate: Mom, is your family’s name ‘Yergler’?
Me: Yes, it is.
Cate (excited): That’s the same name as a bird!
Turns out she had mistaken my former last name for that of “warbler”, of which we saw two today during our field trip to Barr Lake to see their bird banding.
