Since Adrianna mimics so much and she has such a cute way of saying things, it is fun to teach her new sayings. Greg has taught her to say, “Hey Dude” and I recently taught her that “Daddy’s the boss.” This actually works out well if she is misbehaving and Greg tells her to stop, we can remind her that Daddy is the boss. We have told her that Mommy is also the boss.
Well, this has become a little game now. She has started slyly asking questions to determine if other people/things can be the boss.
Adrianna: Daddy’s the boss?
Us: That’s right; Daddy’s the boss.
Adrianna: Mommy’s the boss?
Us: Yes. Mommy’s the boss too.
Adrianna: Rawra’s the boss?
Us: [stifling laughter] No, Adrianna’s NOT the boss. Daddy’s the boss.
Adrianna: Teddy Bear’s the boss?
Us: [about to burst with giggles] No, Teddy Bear’s NOT the boss.
Adrianna: Baby Bear’s the boss?
And on and on it goes.
That’s too cute. I love Adrianna stories. I can’t believe how grown up she looks in her pictures. How did they grow so fast?
