Greg’s company, Wayin, gave all the employees $500 cash and told them to go do something fun with their families. So we decided to stay a night at the fancy Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs. Something we wouldn’t splurge on normally. It was fun to stay there, but we sure felt out of our element.
While there, we also went paddle-boating. Bree was nervous that we’d run into a whirlpool, but the lake was pretty calm.
After an expensive room-service pizza (because all the on-site restaurants required reservations), Greg and I decided to let Adrianna babysit the little girls in our room while we walked around the lake. I was pretty nervous and checked in with her several times, but it was a pretty-good first fun for her first time babysitting.
