Cate (age 3) was concerned about this picture in her book this morning.
Cate: “Mommy, the baby has letters in its mouth.”
Me: “That is just to show what the baby is saying. The baby is crying, ‘Whaaa!'”
Cate, a couple of minutes later: “The baby is crying, ‘Help me, Mommy! There are letters in my mouth! Whaaa!'”
