A pair of swallows built a nest on our front porch, right above the front door. In spite of all the poo, we are enjoying watching them take care of their four little babies and their habit of swooping as they fly, catching insects.
Today, we had a bit of excitement when one of the adult swallows accidentally flew into our house when I opened our front door. The poor thing was pretty scared as it flew around our front room for a few minutes but eventually made its way back out the front door. The girls thought it was pretty fun!
