Bree is officially a toddler. Over the past week or two, she has transitioned to walking more than crawling. She now only crawls when she wants to go really fast or is feeling a little less courageous. It is so cute watching her toddle around the house with her adorable belly sticking out and a big smile on her face. I also find myself with little fingers holding onto my pants quite often throughout the day.
Bree is also a talker. She chatters almost as much as Adrianna sometimes (which is a LOT), except we don’t know half of what Bree is saying yet. Lots of babbling. But a few words are pretty clear.
- Daddy
- Mom-mom (Mommy)
- Yum
- nana (banana)
- nanana (No No No)
- No!
Just in the past two days, her “No” has transitioned from a soft “nanana” for No, No, No to a very clear and emphatic “No!” When she says it, it often includes her hands pushing away whatever it is that she doesn’t want. It is equal parts frustrating and adorable. (Her little voice is so cute.) I am sure the frustration will outweigh the adorableness soon enough.
