The girls have been playing in the water table a lot today. I am so glad they can play together (well, alongside each other at this point). Now, if only we could get Bree to stop drinking the water.

Toddler Tornado
I could possibly get my my whole house clean if I wasn’t having to re-clean up the same areas, dozens of times per day, due to a little pint-sized tornado following me around and undoing everything.
Bree’s First Haircut
Bree got her first haircut this afternoon. Though I had trimmed her bangs once before, Greg really wanted her to get an all-around cut since her little baby hair was getting wispy at the ends. Adrianna also needed a cut, so I took both girls in. At first, Breezy was not happy about getting her […]
Bree Dances to “Mockingbird”
Bree LOVES to dance to music. Her dancing right now consists of little leg squats. Once in awhile she will add some fast and fancy footwork, but mostly it is just the leg bends. So cute! She is also taking better naps in the afternoons. So thankful for that! Mom needs that little break.
A Time for Weaning
On Thursday, May 5th, Bree woke up around 5:30 a.m. with the worst messy diaper ever. The diarrhea was terrible and had seeped out of her diaper onto her belly and legs, causing bad rashes in both places. The poor girl was miserable. After a couple more gross diapers (thankfully, not as messy), she was […]
Bree’s Shawl
Bree’s little personality is really coming out. She doesn’t have many words yet, but she sure is opinionated. I just love grabbing her and holding her sweet little self close to me and showering those cheeks with kisses. Bree loves chatting on her toy phones. She holds the phone on the top of her head […]
Bree’s Stats at Almost 17 Months
Here are Bree’s stats from her well-child visit today. She is almost 17 months old. Height: 32.25 inches (85th percentile) Weight: 22 pounds, 6 ounces (30th percentile) Head Circumference: 18.75 inches (85th percentile)
Toddling
Bree is officially a toddler. Over the past week or two, she has transitioned to walking more than crawling. She now only crawls when she wants to go really fast or is feeling a little less courageous. It is so cute watching her toddle around the house with her adorable belly sticking out and a […]
Playing at the Park
I love Colorado’s mild weather, and this spring has been especially mild. We didn’t get any huge snowstorms like we usually do in March. Of course, this means a dry summer (and lots of wildfires) but at least the mountains received a good supply of snow so our water supply is okay. The mild weather […]
Bree Walks
Bree took her first steps over two weeks ago. And other than one brief moment a couple of days later where she took a couple of steps for Greg, she hasn’t done it since. Until today. Today she was walking all over the loft/playroom. Almost as if she’d been walking this entire time. Little stinker.
