Ride the Baby
Bree was playing with her baby doll and so I asked her if she was going to feed the baby. She then proceeded to put the baby on the floor and said she was going to “ride the baby”. Hmmm. I’d better keep a close eye on Cate. (Especially since she and Adrianna have named […]
Wook at Dat’un Wights, Mommy!
Bree enjoys Christmas lights. She gets very excited to see them as we drive around town in the evenings. We took her to see one of our favorite houses that goes above and beyond in their decorating each year. Her reaction was so cute! “Wook at dat’un wights, Mommy! Mommy, Wook!” and “Nana, Wook!” This […]
Speech Therapy
Bree just had her last speech therapy session with Miss Jenny (or “Miss Jemmy wit da toys”, as Bree calls her). Bree’s come so far in the past few months with her speech. So thankful to hear her new words and even full sentences every day.
Bree at 35 Months
A lot has been going on with Miss Bree the past few months. In October, I had her evaluated by our state as I had a concern about a possible speech delay. She did test a bit behind for her age, enough that she even qualified for free speech therapy until she turns three. So […]
America’s Funniest Home Videos
I enjoy watching “America’s Funniest Videos” with the girls. Listening to their giggles and Bree’s “Dat’s funny!” and “Oh, no!” makes me happy. We usually watch it together in the living room on the nights we order pizza delivery.Â
Pony Book
Just had to purchase a My Little Pony book from the library since Bree showed it a little too much love. She sure loves her “pomies”.
Bark, George
One of Bree’s favorite books is Bark, George by Jules Feiffer. (Or “Bow-Goge”, as she says it.) It is about a dog who, when asked to bark, makes other animal noises instead. His mother, very concerned, takes George to the vet. The vet proceeds to reach into George’s mouth and remove several animals (including a […]
Not Suspicious At All
I hear Bree playing in a nearby room. Me: Bree, what are you doing?Bree: No!  “No” is her favorite word. She’s definitely a two year old! :) And she WAS doing something that she knew I probably wouldn’t want her to be doing.
Minuet in G at 1am
Listening to Bree sing Bach’s “Minuet in G” from her crib. At 1 a.m. Silly girl. Thankfully she hasn’t been up all night. She just woke up happy, I guess.
