Our homeschool options school got discounted tickets to Disney on Ice – 100 Years of Magic Show at the Denver Coliseum. Aunt Karen came along with us and it was a lot of fun!

Swing
This girl loves to swing. It was a nice afternoon at the park with the Becky, Alexis, and Asher. Alexis gave Bree a Rainbow Dash pony, which made Bree very happy.
Lots of Snakes
“Lots of snakes” by Bree. I love her little drawings. They aren’t really scribbles but very deliberately marked. We have another one hanging up in our house called “Lots of Eeyahs” that is even more detailed.
Preschool Play
We are working on counting, number recognition, and sorting. But she thinks it is all fun play.
Mother/Daughter Day
Mommy/daughter date. Muppets Most Wanted, browsing the books at 2nd and Charles, and dinner at Red Robin.
New Dress-up Clothes
My friend, Kim, gave us a couple of frilly dresses from her childhood and a veil and some other dress-up items. She has only boys, so she decided she no longer needed to hold on to them. Adrianna was thrilled to receive them. I am pretty sure the dresses will be worn for more than […]
Hippotherapy
A friend told me about hippotherapy (horseback riding as sensory input and as physical, occupational, and speech-language therapy) today. Knowing Bree’s love for horses, this seems like a perfect fit! I am so excited! I have her eval scheduled for mid-April to begin the program. Â I can’t wait to tell her that she is going […]
Teddy Bears
ME: Bree, where are the Teddy Bear counters? Did you put them away?BREE: Yes, I put them away.ME: Where are they? I don’t see them in the bag?BREE: They aren’t in the stillow [stroller]. I don’t see them. Don’t look in the stillow. (As she pushes away the stroller, filled up with all of the […]
Rainbow Connection
Bree singing “Rainbow Connection.” I love that she is singing about rainbows, considering that Adrianna wanted to name Bree “Baby Rainbow” when she was born.
Sensory Processing Disorder
Bree had her initial evaluation for Sensory Processing Disorder today with Children’s Hospital. Greg took the morning off so we could both attend while Karen came over to watch Adrianna and Cate for the morning. As I have been convinced for awhile, Bree does have sensory processing disorder. This explains her strong aversion to loud […]
