New Coloradans

Well, Shad and Lynette are now Coloradans. They got to our house on Friday, July 1st, along with Shad’s parents, uncle, and cousin. Shad’s mom, Carol, brought along her delicious enchiladas for dinner. She makes the best enchiladas.

Saturday morning, Greg treated everyone to some awesome belgian waffles and then we were off to Colorado Springs to start unloading.

After a full day of unloading, Greg and I headed back to Denver as we needed to pack for our vacation that we were to leave for the very next morning – to Vancouver, BC! More on that trip to come. Shad and Lynette were gracious enough to drive back to Denver late Saturday so that they could get up before the butt crack of dawn to drive us to the airport.
