At 12 months, our Bree is a little charmer. She is often a smiley and happy little girl. She also loves to be held. I am so glad, because I love to cuddle with her.
Bree has six teeth. Four on top and two on bottom. And this girl sure has an appetite. She loves to eat and there isn’t much that she refuses to eat. At least *one* of our girls isn’t a picky eater, although I am certain that will change soon enough. She still loves to nurse, especially before naps and bedtime, although she will happily take a bottle too.
Bree will raise her hands up in the air if we ask her “How big is the baby?” She can also point to her nose. Both of these aren’t 100% consistent yet though. She loves to imitate sounds and be imitated. Her new favorite game is to stick out her tongue at me and then she waits for me to stick mine out too, at which point she tries to grab it. She also loves to be wherever Sissy is at, getting into whatever she may be working on. This can be frustrating for Adrianna at times, but overall she is a patient and sweet big sister to Bree.
A proficient crawler and puller-upper, Bree isn’t walking yet nor does she show a desire to do so. She babbles a lot and moves her tongue in ways to indicate she is trying out different sounds, but she doesn’t have a lot of actual words yet. She says “Mama” and “Dada”, though I swear I have heard her say “A-don-a” or something similar in reference to Adrianna.
My sweet Breezy girl. I cannot believe you have graced our lives for a whole year already. I love you!
And because I love to do picture comparisons, here are both girls at 12 months.
