Desirena Designs made a QP out of my latest template (Template 6). It is quite pretty, don’t you think?

I have another free template for you. This one is another one of my favorites so far. I LOVE multi-picture templates. In fact, I may reuse this one myself since I have over 200+ pictures from my daughter’s birthday party last weekend to wade through and scrap. I am sure I won’t scrap all of them, but I also know that single photo layouts just won’t do!
Here is the layout I created the template from:

A friend of mine is starting a new business and she asked if I would create a banner for her new website. I was pretty excited and nervous; other than creating such things for myself, that is new territory for me. But I decided to dive in and try.
Here is the finished result:

I had to make the image smaller to fit in my blog, so go visit Jen’s new website at Paper Crafting with Jen to see the full result.
From designing this banner, I learned that Photoshop brushes are AMAZING. I had not used them much prior to this project, but now I see how versatile they can be. I think I could use them to design overlays and background papers for digital scrapbooking too. Hooray for learning new things.
Here is another wonderful layout using one of my templates. Didn’t her page turn out so cute and sassy, just like her embellishments state?

Adrianna was playing with one of the balloons from her birthday party and excitedly said, “I catched it!” Greg told her that instead of saying “catched” that she could say “caught” and “I caught it.” So she threw threw the balloon back up in the air and said, “I didn’t caught it.”
Well, I was going to do a blog posting last night and upload the pics from her birthday party, but I went to bed at 6 and slept for about 14 hours. I guess I needed to recuperate from our busy weekend. I will try to post something later today.
Wow, I can say “designs” now that I have done a kit too. hehe.
It is so exciting to see something you have created in use by others. And I have really enjoyed seeing how everyone’s pages turn out so unique even when using the same kit or template. Anyways, here we go:

I have created my first digital scrapbooking mini-kit. Wow, that is a lot of work and time! Since it is my first one, I had to frequent some tutorials and I am sure it will get faster if I continue to play around with photoshop. It was exciting to learn some new techniques, so hopefully my future kits can include more embellishments.
Here is the layout I made with the kit. I will probably make a template out of it eventually too.

This kit was designed at 12×12 PSD. All files should be 300 PPI. I wasn’t able to come up with a fun, unique name like so many designers do. I think I hit the peak of my creativity.
