Greg showed me how to use the extraction tool on Photoshop last night. That tool is so much fun! I was able to use it to create the new header at the top of my blog. I also stumbled across another cool thing by accident. I meant to select the pen tool but accidently selected the history tool right below it (they look pretty similar). This accident led me to realize that the history tool can be used on those areas that are actually cut out of the picture by the extraction, as sometimes the extraction cuts too much off. So the history tool remembers what the picture looked like before the extraction and thus works great for little touch-ups on selected portions. Discovering this, even if it was unintentional, enabled me to be able to teach Greg something in return. hehe.
