Category Archives: Scrapbook Freebies
Hello, scrapbooking friends! I am on a summer break from my college courses right now so I’ve had some time to actually scrapbook – Yay!
As a result, I have a new template that I would like to share with you as another “Multi-Photo Scrapbook Page” challenge. Anyone who participates will receive this new digital scrapbook template for free.
1) Create a NEW scrapbook layout that contains 4 or more photos on one page. Using a template is okay!
2) Upload the layout to my Facebook page @ No Reimer Reason’s Digital Scrapbooking Templates. I will PM, via Facebook, a link for you to download your free template. (Please give me a few days after uploading to send you the template.)
(Note: If anyone is interested in an 8.5×11 template version instead of the 12×12, let me know and I’ll whip one up! 😉 )
I hope your summer is going well. I appreciate you all and enjoy seeing your creative layouts.
Back when I was designing regularly, I used to host a “Multi-Photo Scrapbook Page” challenge at my then-host’s site. It was a lot of fun for me and I’ve missed it.
So now that the holidays are past us, I am sure you have a lot of photos to get scrapped! I would like to have a little challenge here on this blog and on my Facebook Page. Anyone who participates will receive this new two-page digital scrapbook template for free!
1) Create a NEW scrapbook layout that contains 4 or more photos on one page. Using a template is okay!
2) Upload a link to your layout to this page OR to my No Reimer Reason – Digital Scrapbooking by February 10, 2016. I will email or Facebook PM a link for you to download your free template by February 13th.
(Note: If anyone is interested in an 8.5×11 template version instead of the 12×12, let me know.)
Happy New Year and Happy Scrapbooking!
There is a nice snowstorm hitting our state this weekend, which gave me some extra time to get some scrapbooking done. Yay!
I just uploaded a new digital scrapbook template FREEBIE for my No Reimer Reason Facebook fans. It is a two-page template and is available in both 12×12 and 8.5×11 versions. 🙂 Visit No Reimer Reason on Facebook to download!
Hope you are having a great weekend!
Update: Challenge is over as of January 18, 2014. If you are interested in either template, they can be found in my Etsy shop.
My Multi-Photo Challenge is up and ready to go for the DST Winter Get-Together. I am so excited!
For all the details regarding my specific challenge, the forum thread is here.
My challenge is pretty simple.
- Submit a NEW layout using at least THREE unique photos on a single page. Layouts should be posted at DST in the DST Winter Get Together Gallery. NOTE: If you can not see the DST Winter Get Together Gallery in your drop down list when uploading to the DST gallery, just post your layout in Recent Digital Layouts and link it in the challenge thread post so I can find it. DST owners are aware of the problem and hopefully are working on the issue.
- Post a link to your layout in the challenge thread post.
- You have ONE WEEK to complete this challenge. I believe the deadline is 11:59p.m. EST next Saturday (1/18).
If you haven’t already, make sure to sign up for the DST challenges so you are eligible for all the prizes here. (Even if you only plan on completing 1 or 2 challenges, please sign up.)
And now to the freebie information. This challenge comes with a FREE template if you’d like motivation or need inspiration. NOTE: You do NOT have to use this template for this challenge. It is a free gift.
Also, all participants in my Multi-Photo challenge this week will also receive an additional FREE template just for playing. 🙂 Both templates are available in a 12×12 and an 8.5×11 version.
You can click on the images below to download the free templates. The links to the Participant bonus templates will be sent out to everyone who completes the challenge once the week is up.
FREE Participant Bonus Template – 12×12 version
Free Participant Bonus Template – 8.5×11 version
NOTE: The links to the free templates will be expiring after the January 2014 challenge is over, at which time they will be added to my Etsy shop.
The home base with the information for all the challenges and prizes is here.
I cannot wait to see your layouts!
I converted one of my recent free 12×12 scrapbook templates into a template for all of you 8.5×11 scrappers out there. It can be found in my Etsy Store. This two-page multi-photo template can accommodate up to 11 photos!
In case you haven’t seen it already, here is the original 12×12 layout that I used to create the template. The kit I used is Megan Turnidge‘s “Little Man”.
Also, if you are in the market for more 8.5×11 templates (especially multi-photo templates), I just added another one to my Etsy store as well. This one can accommodate up to 11 photos as well.
Sample Layout (in the 12×12 version):

This template also works well for single page layouts too!
I hope to start adding more product soon (which may include bringing some of my old favorites out of retirement!)
So I decided to create a Facebook Page for No Reimer Reason designs. My hope is that it will make it easier for me to connect with you and I’d like to share freebies and the occasional tutorial there too, whether they be ones that I have created or my favorite ones that I find from the many blogs I follow.
I do hope you will come on over and visit! As an extra incentive, I am giving away this new Two-Page Digital Scrapbooking template to all my followers on Facebook. Once you ‘like’ the page, it can be found in the “Free Downloads” tab. See you there!
(Note: this freebie has expired and is now available in my Etsy store.

I decided to take part in the DST November 2013 Blog Train as inspiration to get some scrapbooking done for myself and to make some more freebies for my blog. It worked – there’s nothing like having a goal with a deadline to get the motivation going!
I am deviating from my normal giveaway of templates to instead give away some journal cards. These 3×4 journal cards could easily be used in your Project Life layouts or any regular layout.
If you are following the blog train, your next stop is: Pixel Scrapper
The previous stop was: Brenda’s Scrap Design
If you want to take a look at the blog train in its entirety, it can be found here.
I have another FREE multi-photo template available for download – Yay! This one can accommodate up to 14 photos, if you go photo crazy like I do. Or some of the smaller photo spaces can easily be replaced with the papers and embellishments of your choice. The beauty of layered PSD templates is that you can modify and rearrange things to fit your needs! 🙂
You can click on the image above to be brought to my page full of Free digital scrapbook downloads.
I am taking part in the November DST Blog Train (full of coordinating freebies by many designers) so I will have another freebie coming up on November 1st. See you then!
Now that our new littlest addition is finally taking naps during the day and our homeschool is winding down for the summer, I’ve had a little time to do some scrapbooking. Yay! This has resulted in the creation of a new template as well. Finally. 🙂

This template was created from this layout:
Hope your summer is going well.
For Saint Patrick’s Day, I found some fun and free printable cards on the Family Fun website to create a scavenger hunt. (Image is linked up to the original source if you want to download too!)
To start the hunt off, I upturned some furniture in the playroom and scattered green sequins all over the floor so that it represented leprechaun mischief. Then, right near the chaos, I had taped the first card, that was supposedly written by the mischievous leprechaun, to set them off on the hunt. The final clue was hidden with a handful of candy (the treasure).
My daughter and her friends loved it. LOVED IT. So much, in fact, that my daughter created her own scavenger hunt for me a few days later! She got up early in the morning and put it together while I was still asleep.
For a writing assignment at her homeschool co-op yesterday, she was supposed to list something she was looking forward to on Easter. She wrote that she was looking forward to another scavenger hunt. Uh oh. Guess we’ve started something here! So I created some scavenger hunt cards with an Easter theme.
I think what we’ll do is hide an egg along with each clue. It will make searching for eggs a little more fun. Instead of a bunch of candy, I may do fun things like cute barrettes, lip gloss and other girly things.
Close-up of one card (each one measures 3 x 2.5 inches):

The free printable is an 8.5 x 11 JPG or PDF (your choice). You can import the file into Photoshop and use the text tool to type out the clues on each card before printing. The free download can be found on my Digital Scrapbook Freebies page.
Hope you have a Happy Easter!
Do you ever want to scrapbook but feel uninspired and out of ideas when you actually go to scrap your photos? Yeah, me too. Then I find myself perusing the galleries and the layouts I have pinned to Pinterest, which usually helps tremendously.
Another thing that often helps get me going is to scraplift myself. This is my most recent scraplift. It is from a template I created a few months ago so it was pretty easy to throw together. (I did change a couple of the photo box sizes.) 🙂
Credits: Kit used was Ellie Lash’s Aiobheals Garden
If you haven’t grabbed the free template yet, it is still available. Just click on the image below to be brought to my Digital Scrapbook Freebies page to download.
Also, the kit I used for the new layout above is a freebie by Ellie Lash. I just checked and as of today, it is still available for free download on her site.
We have gotten a couple of nice snowstorms already this winter, much to my 6yo daughter’s delight. My just-turned-two year old isn’t so impressed (yet). What a contrast these cold, snowy pages are to our mild 65 degree weather today though! I even have the windows open – such a delight!
The day after the girls played in the snow in the above layout, my daughter wrote a little story about it at her homeschool co-op “Fun with Language” class. I will have to include this in our scrapbook, as it is a lot cuter than my own journaling! 🙂
“I love my mom because she let me play in the snow. It’s my sister’s first day in the snow. My sister did not touch the snow.”
Both digital scrapbook layouts were created from FREE digital templates that I found online. The locations of both are linked up for you in the credits of each page so you can download them too.
Have you seen the new Facebook Timeline yet?
Example from Introducing Timeline:
One of the first things that struck me when I upgraded my profile to Timeline in mid-December was how versatile the large cover photo could be for anyone who enjoys using Photoshop. Since it is also the first thing people will see when they visit your profile, why not personalize it?
Here is what I did for Christmas:
And then just a few quick changes for the New Year:
I have created a free Photoshop template to get you started in customizing your own Facebook Timeline Cover Photo. You can use it in the same way you would use a regular digital scrapbook template. Simply add your photos, background and embellishments and then upload to Facebook.
You can click on the preview below to be brought to my page of free downloads.
Once you have the Facebook Timeline layout, it is really easy to change your cover photo. Simply hover your cursor over your current cover photo and select “Change Cover/Upload Photo” and choose your new design from your computer.
I hope you are having a Happy New Year!
I created a template from a recent layout while watching The Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring with my husband this evening. I’ve seen this movie many times yet it still hasn’t lost its magic for me. Beautiful story, scenery and soundtrack.
You can click on the layout preview below to be taken to my page full of free downloads.
Here is the original layout I used to create the template. This was my daughter’s Kindergarten graduation last spring. I cannot believe I have a first grader already!
We are getting our first snowstorm tonight. Hope the weather is good where you are!
I am participating in the DST blog train again. This time, I made a couple of templates instead of a kit.
The first template is a 24×12 (2 page) template that can fit up to 10 photos. It also has plenty of room for journaling.
The second template is 12×12 and can fit up to 4 photos. It also has plenty of room for journaling.
You can click on either preview image above to be taken to my page containing all of my digital scrapbook freebies available for download.
If you found this post from the DST Blog Train, then you may arrived here from The Urban Fairy.
