Whence Came a Prince

Finally, the new Liz Curtis Higgs book, Whence Came a Prince, is out! I read the previous two books in this series over Christmas and just fell in love with them. This third and final book in the series was just as heartwrenching as the first two books. In preparation for the third book’s arrival, I read through the first two books again even though it has only been about 3 months since I read them last. Even with the story fresh in my mind from my last read, I still found myself shedding tears and being moved as I read through them again. I just cannot convey how much these books have effected my emotions or how powerful the stories are! I bought the third book on Saturday afternoon, finished it on Sunday, and am starting to read it through again today. I cannot get the characters or their story out of my mind for days or weeks. There aren’t many books that grab my heart and make me cry. I never thought I would find books that moved me more than Francine Rivers‘ Mark of the Lion series (another great read btw), but I finally have in these books. I definitely recommend them.
