FREE Digital Scrapbook Kit – Remember the Magic
We took our first trip to Disneyland back in March. As I was going to start scrapping the many photos this past week, I realized I didn’t have any kits that were exactly what I was looking for in the colors I was looking for. Specifically, the red of my daughter’s Minnie Mouse dress and the black of Mickey’s ears. So, I decided to make my own papers using the exact colors from my photos and it evolved into a mini-kit that I would love to share with you.
Download the Remember the Magic Scrapbooking Kit.
UPDATE 6/13/2023:
If you like this freebie, you will love my new kit, Magic Memories, which was designed to coordinate perfectly with Remember the Magic. It is available now in my store and includes 15 digital papers, 21 embellishments, and 18 journal cards.
Thanks!!!
Thank you so much for sharing, I am new to digi scrapping and have a heap of photo’s to scrap from our disneyland trip 2 years ago. This will be a great start to my digital learning .
I found some beautiful Disney pages you have posted–but I am new to the digital scrap world and I don’t know how to actually get those “loose” pages into a book for print! I have decided not to use Mixbook for the Disney album b/c they don’t have any Disney “stickers”. I would love a suggestion as to the site to get my book going! I started to try Creative Memories–have to buy the software and then the book–and it isn’t available for Mac, so that failed! Thank you!
Thank you for the comment on my blog and welcome to digital scrapbooking!! π
I am not familiar with Mixbook, so I can’t speak to how things would be done with it. How I print my pages is I use Photoshop to create them and then export them so they are also in a JPG file format. It is important to make sure that they are at 300PPI for best quality. I then upload each page (each JPG file) to a photo/scrapbook printing service called Persnickety Prints. They ship the print back to me (I do mine as 12×12) and then I put them into a page protector and into a 3 ring binder type of scrapbook. This is the same kind of scrapbook that can be used for both paper and digital layouts. I know other scrappers have even printed their layouts at Costco!
Some users also upload their layouts to websites that create photobooks out of them rather than printing each layout individually.
Even though I mentioned using Photoshop, I think you could do the same with many of the scrapbooking programs out there as long as they let you save as a JPG file at 300PPI (sometimes referred to as 300DPI). (PPI=Pixels Per Inch. DPI=Dots Per Inch.)
I am sending along a couple of articles that might help you get started. The Daily Digi is one of my favorite websites. π
