As a surprise birthday present for Jeff, Jess planned a trip out to Denver to see us. We have been enjoying our time with them.<\/p>\n<p>On Saturday, the weather was nice and mild (in the mid-sixties) so we had a picnic in El Dorado Canyon, right next to the river. And of course the Reimer boys had to spend some time posing on the rocks.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/blog_images\/2008\/03292008_003.jpg\" title=\"Jeff and Greg in El Dorado Canyon\" alt=\"Jeff and Greg in El Dorado Canyon\" height=\"300\" width=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p>And we had to get in some family pictures amongst the fine scenery.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/blog_images\/2008\/03292008_009.jpg\" title=\"Adrianna, Amber, and Greg\" alt=\"Adrianna, Amber, and Greg\" height=\"363\" width=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/blog_images\/2008\/03292008_011.jpg\" title=\"Charlie, Jeff, Jess, Greg, Adrianna, and Amber\" alt=\"Charlie, Jeff, Jess, Greg, Adrianna, and Amber\" height=\"363\" width=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We also took a short little walk. Emphasis on the &#8220;short&#8221; since we had a 1 year old and almost-three year old in tow.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/blog_images\/2008\/03292008_018.jpg\" title=\"Charlie, Jess, Adrianna, and Amber\" alt=\"Charlie, Jess, Adrianna, and Amber\" height=\"355\" width=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/blog_images\/2008\/03292008_039.jpg\" title=\"On Daddy's shoulders\" alt=\"On Daddy's shoulders\" height=\"300\" width=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Adrianna enjoys playing with cousin Charlie, but she is still working on the whole sharing thing. There have been a lot of tears and at least one time out. She also has taken to mimicking some of what Charlie does, baby talk in particular. It&#8217;s hard being the oldest child sometimes. I have heard many stories of what I did (at the same age) when my brother was born.<\/p>\n<p>Today (Sunday), we awoke to snow on the ground. Though it was gone by noon, we spent most of the day inside. Church, lunch at Cici&#8217;s pizza, and then an afternoon filled with playing Dr. Mario. Our plan for the remainder of the evening is to play more Dr. Mario and watch Bee Movie.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jeff, Jess, and Charlie are here!
