So of course we had to take a picture to commemorate.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Adrianna, Aidan, Ebony, and Layla<\/strong><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/blog_images\/2007\/07212007_008.jpg\" alt=\"Adrianna and her cousins\" \/><br \/>\nIt was a busy weekend. Everyone drove down to Denver to meet at my house on Saturday evening. On Sunday, we went to the zoo. It was a very hot day, but we were able to have a good time.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/blog_images\/2007\/07222007_023.jpg\" alt=\"Adrianna and her cousins\" \/><br \/>\nWe even got to ride the train and the carousel. Adrianna actually asked to sit on the &#8220;poh beah&#8221; on the carousel. So I think she is getting a little braver since she usually wants to sit on the bench with me instead. Once I started to set her down on the bear, she did have a moment of panic and clung to me, but I was able to talk her into staying put and held onto her and she ended up enjoying it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Riding the train<\/strong><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/blog_images\/2007\/07222007_102.jpg\" alt=\"Adrianna, Amber and Greg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Carousel<\/strong><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/blog_images\/2007\/07222007_114.jpg\" alt=\"Adrianna and Amber\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This trip, Adrianna&#8217;s favorite animals were the sea lions, elephants, and the red panda (also known as a firefox).<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/blog_images\/2007\/07222007_067.jpg\" alt=\"Red Panda (Firefox)\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/blog_images\/2007\/07222007_068.jpg\" alt=\"Adrianna watches the red panda\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Last weekend, all of Adrianna&#8217;s cousins (on my side of the family) were able to get together for the first time.
