I walked out on our deck this morning and immediately heard the sound of running water. Not good. So it appears that one of the children left the hose on. I am guessing it’s been going for a few days now, since Saturday was too cold and rainy to play outside and we were gone all day Sunday. And the window well that is a couple of feet away from the hose has at least 8 inches of water in it. So I ran to the basement and at first I thought we were okay; the visible floor was dry. BUT, then I saw it dripping behind the insulation. *sigh* <\/p>\n\n\n\n
After a frantic call to Greg at work, I calmed down and decided to try to divert the leak. Thank you, George Foreman drip tray. I guess your drip tray was aptly named.Edited to add: the water level is below the window itself now, so the leaking is much better!
