But I am not complaining at all. I love every slobbery kiss, although I wouldn&#8217;t mind doing without the mucous.<\/p>\n<p>Adrianna has a cold right now that has her nose running with a constant drip. This doesn&#8217;t stop her from offering up kisses to her Daddy and I though. In fact, she has been almost a little more affectionate than usual. Not wanting to discourage any of her sweet kisses that are so freely and sweetly offered, I try to aim for her cheek or lower lip. Since that doesn&#8217;t completely help, I wait until she looks the other way before wiping my mouth of the snot-smooch. Sweet girl. I think it is pretty much guaranteed that I will be catching this cold after these recent displays of affection.<\/p>\n<p>A new bedtime routine we have now is tucking her bear into bed and under the covers. I will lay him down and cover him up with a blanket and gently pat him and say, &#8220;Night Night, Bear.&#8221; Then, she will wrap her arms around him and lay down so I can cover her up too. Then I gently stroke her cheek and stroke her hair back from her forehead as she looks up at me with her big, blue eyes. As I leave the room, I give kisses and say, &#8220;Night Night.&#8221; The past couple nights she hasn&#8217;t even wished me, &#8220;Nigh Nigh&#8221; back but has simply gone right to sleep. She is really spoiling us with how well she goes to bed.
