Greg was flying a remote-control flying object and Adrianna and Bree were excitedly chasing it. Bree slipped on the hardwood floor, started crying, and then we saw a tooth on the floor! She wouldn&#8217;t let us look into her mouth all evening to see the damage. Even though it is a baby tooth, it was pretty traumatic for all of us, and neither Greg or I got a lot of sleep last night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" src=\"http:\/\/noreimerreason.com\/amberandgreg\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/08242014_002-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6165\" srcset=\"https:\/\/noreimerreason.com\/amberandgreg\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/08242014_002-768x1024.jpg 768w, https:\/\/noreimerreason.com\/amberandgreg\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/08242014_002-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/noreimerreason.com\/amberandgreg\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/08242014_002-1152x1536.jpg 1152w, https:\/\/noreimerreason.com\/amberandgreg\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/08242014_002-1536x2048.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/noreimerreason.com\/amberandgreg\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/08242014_002-scaled.jpg 1920w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We went and saw the dentist today and the good news is that her other teeth are okay and it was the &#8220;one of the cleanest breaks&#8221; she&#8217;s seen. No stitches needed, the entire tooth and root fell out, etc. *sigh* <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I am absolutely amazed that Bree cooperated and let the dentist look in her mouth; that is a huge thing for our sensory kiddo! She did refuse the x-ray though. (She said it smelled funny.) Not even ice cream could entice her!I was concerned that this would be a setback for Bree regarding speech and eating since she was refusing to open her mouth, speak, or eat. But I am happy to say that now (finally), almost 24 hours later, I can hear her upstairs happily playing and conversing with her My Little Ponies. And she requested some &#8220;chocolate toast&#8221; (toast with Nutella) to eat. I am so relieved.
