{"id":4060,"date":"2019-08-26T18:36:53","date_gmt":"2019-08-27T01:36:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/noreimerreason.com\/amberandgreg\/?p=4060"},"modified":"2019-10-19T18:51:41","modified_gmt":"2019-10-20T01:51:41","slug":"well-child-checkups","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/noreimerreason.com\/amberandgreg\/?p=4060","title":{"rendered":"Well Child Checkups"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Adrianna, Bree, and Cate had their annual exams this week and last week.<\/p>\n\n\n\nAdrianna (age 14 years, 4 months):\n<ul><li>Height: 67 inches (5&#8217;7&#8243;) &#8211; 92%<\/li>\n<li>Weight: 122.7 lbs. &#8211; 69%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\nBree (age 9 years, 8 months):\n<ul><li>Height: 54.5 inches (4&#8217;6.5&#8243;) &#8211; 63%<\/li>\n<li>Weight: 55.4 lbs. &#8211; 9%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\nCate (age 6 years, 8 months):\n<ul><li>Height: 47.75 inches (3&#8217;11.75&#8243;) &#8211; 65%<\/li>\n<li>Weight: 48 lbs. &#8211; 49%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The doctor is concerned about Bree&#8217;s weight, as she has fallen off her regular growth curve. She has definitely grown a lot in height this year, so hopefully her weight will catch up. Although around this same time, she&#8217;s also developed some anxiety around eating (specifically, a fear of choking) after she watched Cate gag on a peach peel. So that has made meal times even s&#8230;l&#8230;o&#8230;w&#8230;e&#8230;r for her to finish, which isn&#8217;t helping matters. We are going to start trying to get her some extra protein snacks and drinks to help fill in the gaps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We also expressed a concern that Adrianna sometimes feels dizzy and\/or hears ringing in her ears when getting up from a resting position. She had to get blood drawn (a first for her) to test some different things. They want to test again in October, I think. They were worried she isn&#8217;t getting enough hydration. In the meantime, we need to make sure she&#8217;s getting enough iron in her diet and it was recommended that we also add Gatorade for the electrolytes to her diet.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Adrianna, Bree, and Cate had their annual exams this week and last week.
