I noticed someone posted a question in the comments of a posting asking what a “blog” is. Contrary to my mom’s first thought that a blog sounded like a sea monster or some such creature, a blog is actually short for “Weblog”. Basically it is an online log of thoughts, ideas, happenings, or whatever mumbo jumbo the author feels like keeping track of. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

Blogs are getting more and more popular – even GeorgeWBush.com<\/a> has one. I, for one, have several blogs I check everyday, mainly consisting of people who are important to me but do not live here. It is a cool way for me to keep up on the lives of those I care about.<\/p>\n
