It reminded me of how thankful I am for my husband. No, I don&#8217;t feel like I control him, nor do I want to control him. Even though I may &#8220;run&#8221; the day-to-day things in our lives, he is ultimately the final decision maker. I respect his decisions and appreciate that he always has the best in mind for the both of us. I am glad he is not a wishy-washy kind of guy and that he can take charge when need be. Some women may argue that this is backwards from the whole women&#8217;s liberation thing. I disagree. Greg always treats me like an equal. I think we have a good balance. It is such a relief that I can look to him for support when things get rough; he is steady and trustworthy. I even appreciate it when he tells me to &#8220;quit being a punk&#8221;. Seriously.
