One of our favorite places to visit! We visited their special exhibit, Mammoths and Mastodons.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"DMNS\" alt=\"DMNS\" src=\"\/blog_images\/2013\/05212013_001.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We also went up to their rooftop terrace where we were able to look at the sun using a special telescope. I don&#8217;t think I&#8217;ve ever gotten to see the sun so close before! Amazing. The view of downtown Denver from the terrace, with the mountains in the background, is also pretty amazing.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"DMNS\" alt=\"DMNS\" src=\"\/blog_images\/2013\/05212013_008.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Adrianna and her &#8220;BFF&#8221;, Alexis.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"DMNS\" alt=\"DMNS\" src=\"\/blog_images\/2013\/05212013_012.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Adrianna and Alexis are both 8 years old but on opposite ends of the height spectrum for their age. They are so sweet together. Every time they see each other, even if they&#8217;ve only been apart a few days (or sometimes even mere hours), they shout each other&#8217;s name for joy and hug as if they&#8217;ve been apart for years.\u00c2\u00a0I am so glad my girl has such a great &#8220;best friend forever.&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our Pneuma Group took a field trip to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science.
