My favorite sources are blogs of teachers, other homeschoolers and Pinterest.<\/p>\n<p>For most of her creative writing assignments, I do not help with her spelling. It is so awesome to me, as her teacher, to watch her spelling improve over time as we learn more spelling and phonics rules.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"Princess Writing Activity\" src=\"\/blog_images\/2012\/02272012_001.jpg\" alt=\"Princess Writing Activity\" width=\"500\" height=\"373\" \/><\/p>\n<p>If I was trapped in a tower, I would, &#8220;let down my hair. If my hair wasn&#8217;t long enough, I would yell, &#8216;Hey, you guys down there!&#8217; Then I would yell, &#8216;Let me out of here!'&#8221;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"St Patricks Day Writing Activity\" src=\"\/blog_images\/2012\/03072012_001.jpg\" alt=\"St Patricks Day Writing Activity\" width=\"500\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;My family is worth more [than gold] because they are more important to me.&#8221;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Adrianna loves to draw and many of her pictures end up as gifts to Greg and I with sweet little notes of, &#8220;I love you Mom&#8221; and &#8220;I love you Dad&#8221; written on them. Greg decided to return the favor a few nights ago and, while she was asleep, he drew her this beautiful picture and left it on her desk for her to discover the following day.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"Drawing from Dad\" src=\"\/blog_images\/2012\/03072012_002.jpg\" alt=\"Drawing from Dad\" width=\"500\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Adrianna was THRILLED! She loved it and immediately grabbed a piece of paper and copied his picture with one of her own to give back to Greg.
