We had never been there before, though we&#8217;d driven by on various trips out to the nearby foothills.<\/p>\n<p>The place is beautiful and from the start, Adrianna was very excited to walk the path along the river. We could tell this from her constant chatter and her many comments on how the area was where Teddy Bear lived.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"Walking the Boulder Creek Trail\" src=\"\/blog_images\/2009\/07032009_001.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"425\" height=\"319\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Watching a beetle cross the trail. I love how they are still holding hands.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"Watching a beetle\" src=\"\/blog_images\/2009\/07032009_005.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"425\" \/><\/p>\n<p>There is something so special and endearing about a little girl holding her daddy&#8217;s hand.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"Watching a beetle\" src=\"\/blog_images\/2009\/07032009_006.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"425\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"Walking the Boulder Creek Trail\" src=\"\/blog_images\/2009\/07032009_007.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"425\" \/><\/p>\n<p>On the way back, we stopped at a little paved place where children could play in the water safely away from the flow of the river.
