I first took note of it when Adrianna started commenting on our Disneyland trip about how much she missed them. And since we&#8217;ve been back, Adrianna is always wanting to play with them, to sleep with them, to hug them and to just be with them.<\/p>\n<p>The dogs, for their part, have been very good about all this new and somewhat unwanted attention. They know their place in our household &#8220;pack&#8221; order, which is pretty much at the bottom. They also know that, though Adrianna may be above them in the pack order, they don&#8217;t have to necessarily come when she calls or do her every bidding. But they do patiently tolerate Adrianna&#8217;s sometimes rough embraces and other loving gestures she deems to put them through.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"Adrianna and Chloe\" src=\"\/blog_images\/2009\/04112009_001.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"425\" height=\"319\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Molly seems extra tolerant of Adrianna&#8217;s loving. Or maybe she just isn&#8217;t as smart as Chloe in getting away from Adrianna. But no matter the reason, Molly lets Adrianna &#8220;doctor&#8221; her with all kinds of remedies, including a bunch of pencils, clips, tags, and other miscellaneous items being placed under her collar.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"Adrianna and Molly\" src=\"\/blog_images\/2009\/04112009_004.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"425\" height=\"319\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"Molly and Adrianna\" src=\"\/blog_images\/2009\/04112009_007.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"425\" height=\"319\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I am so glad that Adrianna has a couple of nice dogs to grow up with. I have so many happy memories of my dogs from my childhood.
