{"id":1222,"date":"2008-10-30T15:35:27","date_gmt":"2008-10-30T21:35:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/noreimerreason.com\/amberandgreg\/?p=1222"},"modified":"2008-10-30T15:38:30","modified_gmt":"2008-10-30T21:38:30","slug":"fun-at-the-childrens-museum","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/noreimerreason.com\/amberandgreg\/?p=1222","title":{"rendered":"Fun at the Children&#8217;s Museum"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Now that the weather is getting colder and our Zoo pass has expired, I decided to postpone the zoo renewal and get a pass to the Children&#8217;s Museum instead.<\/p>\n<p>Adrianna LOVED it.<\/p>\n<p>First, we spent a lot of time at the fire truck exhibit.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/blog_images\/2008\/10212008_003.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/blog_images\/2008\/10212008_005.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>One of the next places we visited was the dance and dress up room and the puppet show. There was also a wall that was magnetic and contained at least a hundred or more alphabet and word magnets in trays. Adrianna insisted on putting up each and every magnet.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/blog_images\/2008\/10212008_007.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/blog_images\/2008\/10212008_011.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><object classid=\"clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000\" width=\"425\" height=\"350\" codebase=\"http:\/\/download.macromedia.com\/pub\/shockwave\/cabs\/flash\/swflash.cab#version=6,0,40,0\"><param name=\"src\" value=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/X0w4eQyAOVI\" \/><embed type=\"application\/x-shockwave-flash\" width=\"425\" height=\"350\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/X0w4eQyAOVI\"><\/embed><\/object><\/p>\n<p>After expressing herself through dance, it was time to paint.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/blog_images\/2008\/10212008_014.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We also visited the fishing hole where Adrianna &#8220;caught&#8221; all the fish. She would hop out of the boat, join the magnet on a fish&#8217;s head to the magnet on the pole, then hop back into the boat and reel it in.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/blog_images\/2008\/10212008_016.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/blog_images\/2008\/10212008_017.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We also spent a lot of time in the train room where I enjoyed making the tracks and Adrianna tested them all out for me.<\/p>\n<p>We wrapped the afternoon up with some grocery shopping.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/blog_images\/2008\/10212008_018.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>All in all, we spent several hours there and still didn&#8217;t get to all of the activities before it closed.
