I have been doing a lot of thinking over the past month, and it is with a very heavy heart that I am resigning my designer position at GDS. I don’t make this decision lightly and I have been agonizing over it, but given my current situation (stress over infertility issues and my job situation as we go through a merger), I am trying to simplify my life a bit. Plus, I really need some more time to work on my own layouts, as I have really been falling behind!

I am totally committed to and will definitely finish out this month’s multi-photo challenge there.  I will probably stick around the community there as a member, as I think GDS is a wonderful place to be, which is just one more reason why it made this decision so very hard for me.

Thank you to everyone who was kind enough to play my Multi-photo challenges and support me over there. You guys are so awesome and one of my favorite things is seeing the wonderful layouts you create. I am thinking about continuing some sort of multi-photo challenge here next month and hope to start offering up some more freebies next month too.

Here in Colorado, we have been teased with some amazing sixty and seventy degree weather the past couple of weeks. Though we have been enjoying it very much, we aren’t too fooled because we remember that most of our bad snow storms usually hit in March. But anyways, it inspired the idea for my latest kit, “Not Quite Spring” because the nice weather is still giving me Spring Fever!

Hi everyone! Are you ready for March’s Multiple Photo Challenge? I know I am!

As always, there are only TWO rules for this challenge:

1. Create a layout containing at least 4 photos.
2. Post your layout in the GDS Multi-Photo Challenge Gallery and then reply in the GDS Multi-Photo Challenge thread with the link so that we can all see your creation. Layouts must be posted by March 31st.

Once again, I will offer up a free multi-photo template that you are welcome to use if you need some inspiration for this challenge. However, using this template is NOT required. Any new layout containing 4 photos qualifies. You can download this template for free in the GDS Multi-Photo Challenge thread.

The template is available in a 12×12 layered PSD file or as PNGs.

And, if you complete this challenge and post your layout in the Multi-Photo Challenge gallery by March 31st, you will receive this template as your posting bonus:

If you are like me, you have a TON of photos yet to be scrapped and little time to do it. This is why I am a huge fan of scrapbook layouts that allow for several photos to be scrapped on one page. Another reason I make a majority of my layouts this way is that I already have several very thick books full of layouts. Considering the fact that I take a lot of pictures and I only have one child (so far) who is only 3, I need to keep the number of layouts under some control or I would need a whole wall of bookshelves just to store my scrapbooks by the time she turns 18. Not that that is necessarily a bad thing.

Those of you who have been around my blog for awhile know all this already. And many of you were kind enough to participate in my multi-photo challenge at GDS so you already have these templates in your scrapbooking arsenal. But if you are visiting for the first time, I just packaged the multi-photo templates from the challenge at GDS for the December-February challenges. So if you missed the templates or didn’t get to participate, you can now find them in the store. They are 25% off through Sunday, March 15th. The templates are also available individually if you prefer.

Each 12×12 PSD template has room for 4+ photos. There is a separate zip file that contains just the PNG files if you are using a program that doesn’t accommodate PSD/Photoshop files.
